What an amazing local eatery to order food from. Great pizza pies, bolis and sandwiches! Definitely recommend their Italian meats sub, Buffalo booyah boli, the Soprano boli. You can not go wrong! A big shout out to all the lovely people who work there and are always pleasant to their customers!

We've been searching for the right pizza place that does a good grandma style for ages after our original fav closed down. After many disappointing tries at multiple pizza shops, we finally found it!! We got the grandpa pizza that has the hot honey and chili flakes, extra crispy (it is NOT burnt, despite the lighting in my photo). Everything about it was perfect. The amount of sauce to cheese ratio, the crispiness of it, how deliciously salty it was, and the hot honey to compliment. We are SO happy. We can finally have Friday pizza night again!

Great group that work there. And let’s not forget the food is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Get the grandpas pizza if you want to make 2025 the best year ever. Fantastic food.

Home Slice used to be owned by a different owner, and back then we thought it was ok. Now under the new ownership, I have started to eat here once a week. The lunch specials are awesome! At the time of my review in May 2025 the special is a sub, homemade chips, pickle and a drink for $10 + tax. Or any two slices and a drink. I do not usually like when a pizza place makes their own rolls, but I will make an exception here as their bread is surprisingly good. I’ve tried the Italian, chicken parm, and a few other hot subs and all were delicious! We’ve also order pizza here, and while I enjoyed it, not everyone in the house liked the sauce. I also love their imported Italian sodas. Overall though great spot to grab lunch!

Home Slice has a lot to offer! Their Grandma pie is a local favorite, and when it's on point, it's absolutely delicious. However, we've experienced some inconsistency in quality, which is a bit of a disappointment. We've also encountered some unpredictable wait times. On one occasion, we were given an estimated wait, arrived early, and ended up waiting significantly longer for our food. Unfortunately, our attempts to address this with the restaurant through email and messaging went unanswered. Overall, Home Slice is a solid option for a casual pizza outing, but the inconsistent quality and service make it difficult to consider it a regular spot for us.

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Home Slice Pizza in Walden is an absolute gem in Mechanicsburg, PA! This has become one of our favorite spots, especially with their delicious cauliflower crust option. It’s perfect for my wife, who avoids gluten, and it fits right into my low-carb lifestyle. We love customizing our pizza with a meat lover’s base and piling on black olives, banana peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. Our kids are big fans of the Hawaiian pizza and a classic meat lover too! The location is super convenient, just minutes from the Carlisle Pike, which makes it easy for us to pop in and grab our favorites. The staff is always friendly, and we really appreciate the option to mobile order ahead of time—our food is always fresh and waiting when we arrive. Every visit is a delight, and we can’t recommend Home Slice enough! If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Keep up the fantastic work!

We ordered 2 large pizzas, one with extra cheese and the other with extra cheese and half spinach, and our bill came to $42 with tip. Our family of 4 had differing opinions on the taste of the sauce, and amount of cheese, but the crust itself was burnt. I am giving this place 4 stars because it was really easy to order on line, the store was really clean and looks like it would be a neat place to sit in during better times, and any place that keeps me from having to drive on the Carlisle Pike gets bonus points. One burnt pizza will not stop us from giving it another try.
